This week on Food for Thought we have Jerome Burne, he is the editor of HealthInsightUK, an award-winning journalist who has been specialising in medicine and health for the last 10 years and now works mainly for the Daily Mail. His most recent book “10 Secrets of Healthy Ageing” was written with nutritionist Patrick Holford.
In this first of two interviews with Jerome we cover the ‘Statin Wars’ as he calls the debate that is still ongoing in that arena, and he explains why it’s become so confusing for so many to understand whether they should be using these medications or not. We also discuss why trust has become an issue in regards to the research that these medications are based on.
