Tea Tree Oil
A powerful antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, immuno-stimulant, this oil can be really useful to add to your healing toolkit due to its value for when colds, and flu strike. The great thing about this oil is that you can use it on cold sores, spots, and even directly on warts which you would then cover with a bandage, but you must use it in tiny, itsy weeny amounts when using it directly on the skin.
As an antifungal, tea tree is great for athlete’s foot as well as helping to control candida when it’s got out of hand.
It’s also anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, immuno-stimulant, and insecticidal, it can help with gums, bronchial congestion, whooping cough, abscesses, dandruff which is why you so often see it in hair products, oily skin, healing wounds and as an immune system booster. It’s available in good health food shops or Neals Yard, as well as online.
Use it in moderation and less is more with any of these types of oils.
