On this weeks Food for Thought I’ve got Jeanice Barcelo on talking quite controversially about the birthing process.
She’s a sociologist, a conscious birth educator, and a prenatal and birth trauma prevention specialist. She is an international speaker, a TV and radio show host, and founder of the forthcoming “Birth of a New Earth International School for Conscious Procreation”.
We talk about what a conscious birth educator is, and how we need to be focused far more on conscious procreations. She explains what is wrong now with the birthing process and how it’s treated, and how women are treated, particularly in how it can be a cause of trauma which few realise could be an issue in the long term.
Jeanice’s work is fascinating and not mainstream in it’s thinking, and would be considered controversial in subject matter.
